Player protection first
Real-value competition is for verified adults aged 18 or older and may be offered only through the appropriately licensed operating entity. VanGolf does not encourage chasing losses, imply guaranteed returns or make it harder to stop than to start.
Practice Points used in free social play have no cash value and cannot be bought, redeemed or withdrawn.
Limits before play
Account controls include daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, a daily loss limit, invitation controls and a withdrawal safety lock. Lower limits apply immediately. Requests to raise a limit wait at least 24 hours and must pass account checks.
Open Profile → Account & Security → Player protection to review these controls.
Cool-off and self-exclusion
A 48-hour cool-off blocks new competitive commitments while preserving access to results and account records.
Self-exclusion blocks new play for at least six months, applies across the relevant licensed products and stops promotional messages. It cannot be reversed from the account screen. Reinstatement is considered only after the exclusion period and required counselling or review.
Know when to step away
- Spending more time or money than planned.
- Trying to win back losses or increasing limits after a loss.
- Hiding play, borrowing to play or missing responsibilities.
- Feeling anxious, angry or unable to stop.
If any of these feel familiar, take a break, self-exclude and use independent support.

Marketing and complaints
Marketing preferences are optional. Promotional messages must stop for self-excluded members and must not target minors or people known to be at risk.
Player-protection complaints must be logged, investigated and escalated independently from commercial targets. Members keep the right to approach the relevant regulator.
