Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using VanGolf, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Notice, the Responsible Play Policy and the competition rules shown before you enter a game or pool.
- You must provide accurate information and control only your own account.
- You must be at least 18 and pass the displayed eligibility and verification checks to access any real-value competition or wallet feature.
- If a competition notice conflicts with a general rule, the clearly displayed event-specific rule applies to that competition.
Your account and security
You are responsible for protecting your sign-in method, two-step authentication and recovery details. Tell VanGolf promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
VanGolf may restrict an account to protect a member, investigate misuse, comply with law or preserve competition integrity. Access to results and account records will remain available where reasonably possible.
Competition and fair play
Your latest valid four-player team becomes final at the published selection deadline. Scoring uses the verified result source and remains provisional until the official event result is final.
- Automation, collusion, multiple-account play, impersonation, manipulation and exploiting a known error are prohibited.
- Corrections by the official result source may change scores, ranks and outcomes.
- Missed cuts and uncompleted rounds receive the field-worst daily score described in the Competition Rules. Void, postponed, suspended and shortened events follow the applicable event notice.
Points, subscriptions and real-value features
Practice Points: Free-play points have no cash value. They cannot be purchased, transferred, redeemed or withdrawn.
A real-value feature is available only when it is visibly enabled for an eligible, verified adult account and the applicable licensed operating permissions, player-protection controls, payment safeguards and competition terms are in force. Every paid plan, credit, qualifying-play rule, fee, withdrawal rule and prize condition must be shown before purchase or entry.
Data, content and intellectual property
VanGolf’s software, design, brand and original content are protected by applicable law. Golf scores, player information and other third-party content remain subject to their owners’ rights and the relevant data licence.
You grant VanGolf the limited permission needed to display content you submit to your profile, pools or chats. You may remove that content subject to legal, security and audit-retention requirements.
Availability, changes and corrections
VanGolf may maintain, secure or change the service. Material changes to these Terms will be dated and presented for acceptance when required. If a feed or scoring issue occurs, VanGolf may pause settlement and use the official corrected result.
VanGolf does not guarantee uninterrupted access, but will apply reasonable care to protect account data and competition integrity.
Liability and member responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, VanGolf is not responsible for indirect loss caused by third-party connectivity, official-data delays or conduct outside its reasonable control.
You remain responsible for decisions made using score, news or market information and for checking the rule shown before entry.
Complaints, disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by South African law. Start a service complaint through the account support channel so it can be logged, investigated and answered. This does not remove any right to approach a regulator, licensed gambling authority or court with jurisdiction.
Where a real-value product is offered, the operating identity, registered address, licence details, regulator and formal complaint route will be displayed with that product.
